This privacy policy sets out how Potwells Ltd uses and protects any information that you give Potwells Ltd.

 

Potwells Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We also combine the shopping history of many customers to identify trends and ensure we can keep up with demand and or source new products or brands.

Collecting Data

We will collect information:

  • When you create an application and submit a profile for an account with us
  • When you use our website
  • When you fill in any online forms with us e.g. account application, contact us form, competitions
  • When you make an online purchase and check out
  • When you contact us by any means with enquiries, queries, order, feedback etc.

  • When you choose to complete any surveys we send you

  • Log in to your account, visit the ‘My Account’ area and click on the e-mail preference link to update the ‘marketing e-mails’ by selecting or deselecting the relevant options for each type of e-mail.

Please note that you may continue to receive communications for a short period after.

Retaining data

  • When payment details are collected verbally the conversation is not recorded. When payment is taken via the website the payment details are not stored. All transactions are processed using Stripe, a secure 3rd party payment provider https://stripe.com/gb/privacy

How we use cookies

 

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive.   • _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
  • storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

 

Controlling your personal information

 

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

  • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

Google Analytics Tracking

 

The websites use Google Analytics Advertising features, specifically Demographics and Interests reporting.

These features are enabled in order to enable us to collect demographic and interest data in our analytics reports, isolating data by age, gender, and interest.

 

This data is collected for the sole use of Potwells  Limited, for the purpose of monitoring and improving our on-line experience. All data collected is non-personally identifiable.

 

We will not facilitate the merging of personally-identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information collected through any Google advertising product or feature unless we have robust notice of, and the user's prior affirmative (i.e., opt-in) consent to, that merger.
